FAMU Farm Fest 2011

We had a fantastic day going to the FAMU Farm Fest!!! We got to the Farm about 8:30 am, then registered for the day. As we registered they gave us either gloves to farm with or a little lunch bag, all of us picked the gloves!! The boys were sooo happy to have work gloves. I think it made a great start to their day. Chandler trying to pick an eggplant, we had to go over & cut it with a knife. He was sooo excited to be able to pick those veggies.

Everyone loved pulling the potatoes out of the ground!

We came home with lots of banana peppers, green peppers, corn, okra, collards, eggplant, tomatoes, squash, jalapenos & potatoes

When we got home everybody was excited to help sort everything, wash it all, & put it away!

After a wonderful time at the Farm we were on our way home & Dad saw a blueberry u-pick it place & we pulled in there & picked blueberries for a while! We ended up with about 7lbs of blueberries too! I don't think the boys will forget this day for a very long time, they all had a wonderful day.

Our House and Land

Thought I would putsome Pictures Of our house and land. We have alot of fun walking the trails,riding our four wheelers,and swimming in the pool. This is the front of our house.

This is the back, we use it as the front. That is Chandler on his little bike.
