Live It Basketball!!

The past 2 months Dalton and Chandler enjoyed playing basketball, Dad and Cooper enjoyed coaching, and Mom and I enjoyed getting into the games!!

It was such a great joy to watch each game. They really focus on the character of the players instead of worrying about them playing the game right, of course they would remind them to dribble and pass the ball!!!

And He's Off

Last weekend we dropped Tanner off at the airport. He is now at ALERT Academy going through their program. We all miss him so much :(

Friday Fun Night!!!

A few Friday nights ago we had several families over.  We had a great time playing games, had an ice cream bar, popped popcorn and had great fellowship!  Thanks to Emily for making the wonderful ice cream cookie bowls.  They were delicious!!!

  Not sure how this is possible but some people don't like ice cream, so we put popcorn in Olivia's ice cream bowl. 




For some reason we didn't get pictures of us playing games.  I think it was because we are all too busy being competitive!  Oops!!  Anyway it was fun playing & fellowshipping with our friends & family.  Hopefully we can do it again soon.  Stay tuned folks!!!

Independence Day

On the Fourth our good friends the Roberts came over and we had a great day of fellowship and fun!! We swam, ate,did fireworks,did sparklers, ate,and just had a great time! Group hug

FAMU Farm Fest 2011

We had a fantastic day going to the FAMU Farm Fest!!! We got to the Farm about 8:30 am, then registered for the day. As we registered they gave us either gloves to farm with or a little lunch bag, all of us picked the gloves!! The boys were sooo happy to have work gloves. I think it made a great start to their day. Chandler trying to pick an eggplant, we had to go over & cut it with a knife. He was sooo excited to be able to pick those veggies.

Everyone loved pulling the potatoes out of the ground!

We came home with lots of banana peppers, green peppers, corn, okra, collards, eggplant, tomatoes, squash, jalapenos & potatoes

When we got home everybody was excited to help sort everything, wash it all, & put it away!

After a wonderful time at the Farm we were on our way home & Dad saw a blueberry u-pick it place & we pulled in there & picked blueberries for a while! We ended up with about 7lbs of blueberries too! I don't think the boys will forget this day for a very long time, they all had a wonderful day.

HomeSchool Conference

We had a great time in Texas at our home school conference. The Lord really blessed us while we were there. It was a great time of fellowship and learning!!


Before we left we had alot of work to do on our RV, so Brandon, Denver, and a friend came over one weekend to help!! We were very grateful for there help:) Some played while others cleaned;]


Once we got there and got all set up another family came in beside us and needed a little help setting up,and so Dad and some friends pitched in and helped.

A few pine branches needed taken care of!!

So Mr. Greg and Dad did the job!!!

At the conference there are programs that students can attend. Dalton and Chandler did Children's Institute and I taught it. Cooper did ALERT Cadet and Tanner was a leader. Dad, Mom and Susanna, sat in the sessions and learned alot!! Well, we learned alot too=0)
